This is a wooden Dice Poker pool board which blends the mechanics of poker and Yahtzee with a strategy board game. It is designed for two players or two teams.
The board measures 18w x 18l x 0.75 thick
The Game Board
-
The Grid: The board features a 10x10 grid. Each square represents a specific dice combination (e.g., pairs, three-of-a-kind, or specific numerical totals).
-
Special Squares:
-
Full House: Marked with red house icons.
-
Straight: Located in the corners.
-
Lucky 7 & Lucky 11: Special high-probability or bonus squares.
-
FREE: The center square acts as a "wild" or starting space for anyone.
-
-
Chip Holders: The board has carved indentations along the edges to hold the poker chips for each player.
How to Play
-
Rolling: Players take turns rolling five red dice (seen in the top left).
-
Matching: You look at your roll and see if the resulting "poker hand" matches an open square on the board. For example, if you roll three 4s and two 2s, you could claim a "Full House" square or a square showing a specific combination of those numbers.
-
Placing Chips: Once you identify a match, you place your colored chip on that square.
-
The Objective: Much like the game Sequence, the goal is typically to be the first player to form a continuous line of five chips (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally).
